A battery wears out over time, just like a car tire gets worn down the more it’s used. A new battery can be recharged to 100% of its capacity. Over time, this 100% gradually reduces.

Standard Battery

The battery will perform normally when at 80% capacity or higher. You won’t run out of charge unexpectedly—unless, of course, you’re watching a Star Wars marathon on your phone. All our iPhones come with at least 80% battery capacity. By default, Android devices don’t show battery capacity.

New Battery
